Oh man, I'm really not doing so well with staying away from the internet. Is there a better way to procrastinate? Don't tell me if there is, because I don't need anymore ways to put things off. Yesterday I even put off posting here. I did clean and work on math with my son. Also made sure he did his science and art homework for co-op. I played paper dolls and Mean Teacher in the 1940's with M.E. (my daughter). Did some laundry, paid a bill, made some food- boring daily stuff. I cleaned the living room about four times because my girls is advanced when it comes to mess making. I also took some time to go outside with M.E. and watch the mass of robins (Is there a special name for a flock of robins?) who come visit our yard once every winter. It's an amazing site to look our your window and see your yard alive with a carpet of birds. I used to think they were our local robins wintering here, but this time I noticed their darker back feathers and brighter than usual chest feathers so now I think we might be a rest stop for some northern robins. But maybe they were just all male robins. I've read they arrive a few days before the less intensely colored females. I tried to get a picture of them, but they weren't having it. They scattered as soon as I went outside and then swooped around so much I just ended up with pics of blurry birds or naked winter tree limbs. But I'm not making it up, they really were there.
