This morning I got my overly sleepy daughter up for her ride to Kindergarten at Waldorf school and then drank coffee and zoned out for awhile. The house was a mess, so I cleaned for quite awhile and then set-up for the afternoon craft co-op that was meeting at my house. I talked with my homeschooled son (turns 14 on Friday!) about considering high school next year. He helped me around the house and watched a documentary about Chuck Close. We didn't do any school work other than that today. The Make and Bake co-op met at 2pm. Four of us moms meet once a week to craft or bake with our daughters. We usually do hand crafts, but this month we've been taking it a bit easy and doing more artsy-craftsy stuff. Today was my turn to lead. We looked at some books with collage illustrations ( Snowball and The Snowflake Sisters) and then girls used rivers of glue and made collages. That was over around 4:30pm after which I lapsed into web surfing. I'm not doing so well about staying off line. We ordered pizza for dinner.
